Respondus announces the availability of Respondus LockDown Browser for Moodle, versions 1.9 and higher. When running Respondus LockDown Browser during a Moodle quiz, students cannot print, copy, go to another URL, access other applications, or exit the quiz until it is submitted for grading. Respondus LockDown Browser reduces cheating and inhibits common methods students use to copy and distribute exam questions.

Respondus announces the integration of Respondus LockDown Browser and the Desire2Learn Learning Environment. When enabled, students are unable to print, copy, go to another URL or access other applications during the test. Students are locked into the Desire2Learn test until it is submitted for grading.

McGraw-Hill Higher Education partners with Respondus to make test banks available in Respondus format. An instructor who adopts a participating textbook can request the test bank from the Respondus Test Bank Network and then download it with Respondus 3.5 or StudyMate Author 2.0. Select McGraw-Hill Higher Education titles are available immediately from the Respondus Test Bank Network, with additional titles being added throughout 2007.

Respondus announces the release of Respondus 2.0, its next generation of exam management software. For the first time, instructors can create one exam file and publish it to a WebCT, Blackboard, eCollege, or IMS QTI-compliant e-learning system (e.g., Perception).
